Foban Cream 15g

Foban Cream contain an antibiotic (called fusidic acid or sodium fusidate). This is an antibiotic used to treat skin infections. It is effective only against those bacteria which fusidic acid or sodium fusidate can kill.

Active ingredient:

• Fusidic acid

Examples of such infections are:

• Impetigo – contagious skin infections with blisters or red spots
• Infected cuts and abrasions
• Infected eczema
• Infected contact dermatitis

The recommended dosage is:

• Uncovered skin – apply gently three or four time daily
• Covered skin – less frequent applications as recommended by your doctor

Side effects:

• Mild stinging and irritation may be experienced for a short time after application.
• If you experience prolonged irritation of the skin or any other ill effects, tell your pharmacist or doctor and ask if you should continue with your medication
