Alcon Maxidex 0.1% (5ml)

Alcon Maxidex is used to treat the redness, swelling and other symptoms due to inflammation or allergy of the eye. Injury of the cornea caused by chemical, heat burns or foreign bodies.

How To Use:

• This medicine is for external use only.
• Always wash your hands before and after applying eye drops.
• Tilt your head back and look upwards.
• Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it to avoid contamination.
• Pull down the lower eyelid to form a pouch. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid.
• Whilst keeping the affected eye closed, gently press your finger against the corner of the closed eye (the side where the eye meets the nose) and hold for 1 minute.
• Wipe off any extra liquid.
• Wait for 5 minutes before administering another drop into that eye (of the same or different medication) to prevent drops from being washed out of the eye.
• Ensure to replace and tighten the cap straight after use or discard away any medication for single-use containers.
